Camp AIM Counselor
The South Hills YMCA is looking for a Camp Counselor to work with special needs children. The camp counselor is responsible for direct supervision and safety of the campers in their charge, planning, maintaining record keeping, and implementing daily recreation, social development, arts and crafts, and self-help for the children. Minimum age 16 years (prefer 18); one year experience with exceptional children and/or camping/child care; Skill necessary to accept full responsibility for children and staff within group; Enthusiasm and creativity in programming & career interests in Special Education.
